Instant Messaging With My Love

Faidros says:

Hej min egen Barbara

B says:

Hello Finn -- how are you?

Faidros says:

Tired after a long day, but happy to see you here

B says:

I am actually multi-tasking: on a boring conference call, answering student emails and talking to you (that's my favoirte task).

Faidros says:

Haha, yes that is for sure you can... By the way, did you ever recieve my sms from AMS

B says:

No, I did not. Are you sure you are no SMSing another girlfriend...lol

Faidros says:

Yes I am sure... I was on a layover in AMS and took a walk and saw the Amrath hotel. I stopped beneath the window of "our" room and took pictures with my phone and sent them to you... I just stood there for - I think twenty minutes or so. Time just passed. I had to share it with you....

B says:

That is so touching. I wonder, though, who you sent you picture to.. I love that you were there and thought of me.  I would have liked to see your picture. And, I thought of you in Paris.  I was walking around the River Seine and came across the Quai de la Tournelle stop where Jesse and Celine got on the boat up the Seine. So, in your honor I rode that boat.

Faidros says:

Really.... now it all comes to me again... that is a wonderful feeling... Regarding the sms I thought you can't recieve pictures on MMS.

I got a message a couple of days later telling the message could not be delivered..

I still have the pictures on my phone

B says:

I believe you are right about my inability to receive pictures.  I also saw your Mona Lisa at the Lourve.  Actually, I went to Paris just to see her.

Faidros says:

You are certainly my Mona Lisa

B says:

Actually, I thought she was no beauty: her hair was too flat, her fingers seemed awkwardly placed, her dress was a bit too conservative. She was also a bit chunky. BUT, those eyes and smiles.  I knew when I stood there that that was probably the greatest love story never told. I love that Da Vinci completely unmasked her.  The mystery about those two is very delicious.

Faidros says:

Indeed it is.. Something hidden by that picture still has to be revealed. There is certainly more to that story. Time will solve it, somehow...

B says:

No, I hope they never solve it.  They died with that great secret.  It should stay that way.  Man wants to break it down, analyze it, measure her eyes. And, yet, it probably was all about love.  No one will ever believe that...

Faidros says:

Maybe I can accept your point of wiew. Even I like to dig deep and scrutinize everything until all mystery is gone.. I will think about it. Maybe there must be secrets nobody shall know about to save the mystery in life.. :-)

B says:

Yes, the greatest truth is in the mystery. I like what Emerson says about truth: that science and religion will never provide the individual with his own set of truths.  He said that it is only through dreams, sex, etc. that the individual can find the meaning and truth of his life.  The problem is that you have nothing to measure your truth against if you look at it that way.  It makes it a bit

more difficult when you know something is true that can't be proven

Anyway, at the Louvre I also ran into Boticelli's Venus, Pietro's the Virgin Birth, Venus the Milo, The Coronation of Josephine and Artemis' Diana (that is all I could handle this trip).  My brain was on overdrive.  So, I had to get the hell out of that museum.

Faidros says:

Yes it is huge in every sense... You can't relate to it all at the same time. I know the feeling...

B says:

Anyway, tell me about you.  What have you been up to?

Faidros says:

I must sleep now... I have been flying as usual. but the wind-turbine project has taken a lot of time. We will get the local government approval in June.. So I must soon find out how to raise 30 million USD:-O

B says:

Okay, we will talk another time.  I'm glad we talked tonight.  Take care.  And, I love you.  I think I must say that....

Faidros says:

I also can't let you go.... It was overwhelming for me to stand beneath that hotel window.. I walked like in trance afterwards. I guess I was lucky not being overrun by a car or ending up in canal. I missed you so much.. it is hard to explain

B says:

Yes, you have been haunting me too.  And, that is why I must say it to you.  I don't care what happens between us, I will always love you.  Okay, have a good night!!!!!

Faidros says:

I am touched now.... I don't know what to say.

I have a good feeling

Thanks

B says:

just get some sleep and dream of me.  God knows I have missed every inch of you (oops, naughty talk). Okay, enough already...

Faidros says:

I must sleep... hope we can continue soon.

B says:

yes, we will(L)
